Each month, your Tinkering Toddler Crate will be delivered to your door jam packed with all the materials needed to complete three activities with your toddler or preschool-age child (3-5 years old). In addition to the materials, your will get step-by-step directions with photos, guiding questions for the adult to ask the child and suggestions for how to get the most out of each activity in the crate.
Monthly themes will be timely and often will reflect what is going on in that month (holidays, events, etc.). Toddlers learn a great deal through their senses which is why sensory bins are an amazing tool to utilize at this age and why we always have one sensory bin activity included. The actual plastic tub is not included due to shipping constraints, but all the materials needed to fill it are. Other activities include ways to introduce colors, shapes, numbers, letters, etc. in fun and engaging ways. Each activity has been tested with children and is purposeful in why it was included. The activities are designed to help your child meet their developmental milestones (a handy reference/checklist of these is also included) and will give you ideas of things you can do with your child to help them flourish.
